Mariology Series  

First Friday and First Saturday of October, December, February and March. NCI host a public lecture series on Mariology in honour of Mary, Mother of Mercy for the Year of Mercy. Mariology lectures will be delivered by William A Thomas. The series will  include Mass, Holy Hour and Rosary.

Tuesday, October 14th Prof. Frederick Gilson will give the inaugural Newman Society:  Priests, Poets & Philosophers lecture, Fate, Free Will & Forgiveness.

Tuesday, October 21st Dinner and Lecture by his Eminence, Cardinal Pell, Prefect of the Secretariat for the Economy.

Wednesday, February 11th Rev. Prof. Dermot Fenlon, NCI, will give the next lecture in the Newman Society: Priests, Poets and Philosophers series entitled Home Thoughts from Abroad, Newman, Rome and the Secularisation of England, 1833.

Thursday, February 19th Mr William A. Thomas (Catholic Networking), as part of the Newman Society: Priests, Poets and Philosophers series presents The Great Teresa of Jesus OCD:  Her Mission, Collaborators and Legacy.

Wednesday, February 25th Dr. Angelo Bottone (UCD), presents Newman’s Idea of a Catholic University as part of the Newman Society P.P.P. series.

Wednesday, March 11th Dr. Caitlin Smith Gilson (NCI) will give the next lecture in the Newman Society: Priests, Poets and Philosophers series, entitled Christianity and The Tragic Vision.

Wednesday, 25th March Rev. Prof. Stephen Brock (PUSC), will present The Causality of Prayer in C.S. Lewis, Peter Geach & St. Thomas Aquinas.

Wednesday, April 8th Prof. Frederick Gilson (NCI), will give a lecture entitled T.S. Eliot’s Idea of a Christian Society as part of the Newman Society: Priests, Poets and Philosophers series
