Newman College has landed on Irish soil and is headed north! The college will spend the next two semesters at the Drummond Hotel in Ballykelly, Co Derry.
The Drummond Hotel is a comfortable family run hotel on the Belfast-Derry road, just past Limavady. For almost 20 years the Drummond has had the privilege of having a chapel and hosting many retreats, conference and seminars.
Students will have an environment conducive to study and the development of a college community. And they will get to see the Giant’s Causeway if they haven’t already!
Even before we arrive, NCI has received a warm welcome from the local area including Bishop McKeown, Brother Patrick of the Franciscans of the Renewal, Msgr McCanny and Fr James Devine of the local parish and many, many others. We look forward to a challenging and fruitful academic year among new friends.
In the meantime we continue our search for a permanent campus for Newman College Ireland. Any help or advice in this hunt can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Rome is known as the Eternal City and will for this academic year (2014/2015) form the backdrop for Newman College Ireland’s seminal year.
We will be learning and lodging with students from around the world. We will be able to walk into the Vatican almost daily because of how close we are to it! We will also have excursions to Assisi and Florence.
Newman College Ireland is partnering with St. Thomas More College New Hampshire which has it’s own Rome based campus. This is a long established campus and itvis well supported and provided for in terms of the services and accomodation available to students.
Students from Newman College will be learning and living with students from St. Thomas More College thus building lasting and rewarding friendships into the future.
It’s going to be an amazing adventure! Apply Today!
